Hillsboro, Wisconsin
Location
The City of Hillsboro is located in the southwestern portion of Wisconsin, in Vernon County. The city is approximately 25 miles north of the City of Richland Center, 25 miles west of the City of Reedsburg, and 50 miles East of La Crosse. Because of its strong Czech heritage, Hillsboro is known as the "Czech Capital of Wisconsin".
The City of Hillsboro lies in the unglaciated Driftless Area of Wisconsin, a major geographic area of the state characterized by narrow ridges, steeply-sloped hillsides, and wooded valleys.
